MY GALS! Liv and team are truly incredible! I did my make-up trial in January and then got married in October, and it truly felt like I hadn't missed a beat with my besties. The team executed two very different looks for my welcome drinks and then the wedding day. Night one was Hollywood boss glam, and then on the wedding day, I was rocking a high pony and IDK how to even describe the makeup, but I felt like an angel from heaven. These gals felt like best friends, were incredible vibes getting ready, let me yap all day, and still got my 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and mama's looking beautiful, too! We had a packed house, and they stayed on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. I wake up every day wishing I could have this glam team with me! RUN DON'T WALK to book this dream team!!!!!! -

They were so sweet, listened to everything I wanted and were always making sure I had everything I needed. Choosing the people who are with you on your special day is really important and these gals made me feel relaxed and at ease, like I was just hangin with my girlfriends! Also the hair and makeup were incredible, I had an updo and I asked for natural makeup and it couldn't have been more perfect. You will not go wrong with hiring them for your special event.

Beauty on Set is the most incredible hair and makeup team ever!!! I worked with Mollie and Bre for hair and makeup for both my engagement photos and wedding day, and I seriously have never looked more gorgeous in my entire life. They were such a joy to work with, always kind and responsive to emails, and took my Pinterest board dreams and made them a reality. For my wedding look, Mollie created a beautiful reverse fishtail braid, which made me look like an actual Disney princess. The soft curls and delicate braid worked so well with my dress and I can't stop looking at photos. On my actual wedding day, it was literally the biggest storm the Bay Area had seen in years lol, but Bre thankfully was able to stay with us until the end of the ceremony not only touching up my hair and makeup but my entire wedding party too. Bre also went ABOVE and beyond, running around with me and our photographer to help hold my dress, reposition my veil or fix my hair mid-photo session. I cannot thank Bre enough! Mollie and Bre are nothing short of artists, and the kindest people too! I loved my hair and makeup SO much that I am already booking them for another event. I truly can't imagine working with any other HMU company.

Beauty On Set is amazing! Mollie did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding, and she did an absolutely gorgeous job!!! Everyone looked stunning! I LOVED working with her. She is really sweet, thoughtful, professional, relaxed, makes the process really fun, and she is extremely talented! She is great at giving a natural look, and was so wonderful about listening to what everyone wanted and tailoring the makeup for each of us. Hiring Mollie from Beauty On Set to do my hair and makeup was one of the best wedding planning choices I made. I was married this year in September and Mollie travelled up to the Mendocino coast for my wedding. She was able to deliver the hair and makeup look I wanted and she made it an absolute pleasure. She's calm, kind, and talented, which is very important on your wedding day. She was also very cool about working around the makeup allergy sensitivities I have and I didn't have to compromise on the look at all. In summary, she went above and beyond. I'll have to go to swanky parties more often to find a reason to get all made up by her again. Especially if you're getting married in Mendocino county, book Beauty on Set, the talent is tops.

From the moment I arrived for my hair and makeup trial, to having my hair/makeup done for welcome drinks the night before my wedding, to my wedding day, Olivia was not only on time and professional, but her positive attitude and fun and easy vibes really made each time meeting with her something I looked forward to. She was super communicative and detailed in scheduling each makeup session. She was able to capture my desired look every time. I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day and my hair/makeup lasted perfectly throughout the entire evening. When I received my wedding pictures, I was still just obsessed with my look and couldn't imagine it any other way. I loved working with Olivia and will absolutely book her for future events. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

This review is generally for Beauty on Set and specifically for their Mendocino/Elk-based artist Jordyn who was my makeup artist for my wedding near Fort Bragg. Olivia and the Beauty on Set team were very easy to book and coordinate beforehand. They have a full prep guide they share with brides that includes steps I'm sure they have learned over the years of serving hundreds of weddings. They also have brides do their homework and provide ample photos and examples to set up a successful day-of. I did not do a trial due to this being a destination wedding, but Jordyn was such a professional that everything worked out great. She arrived early and stayed late, making sure everyone was satisfied with their hair and makeup. She was very open to suggestions and adjustments and I am particularly so grateful to her for how beautiful she made my mom feel.

Loved my experience with Beauty on Set. Was lucky to have Liv with me, making me look my best. A couple reasons why I love Beauty on Set/Liv: - the work is incredible. Like, chef's kiss. I have a bunch of things I am sensitive to (I don't like the left part of my forehead - no good reason, it looks just like the other side I'm okay with) and dislike (have gotten my makeup done just a few times and always ended up redoing a lot of it myself despite being awful at makeup). Despite this, Liv understood the assignment and DELIVERED. She talked me through what she was thinking, got my buy-in at each stage. I felt like she provided her expertise while still making sure my thoughts were acknowledged. She had me looking like the best possible version of myself. - Liv traveled to me dark and early - like she left her home at 4:20am to start me at 6am before dawn. She was flexible on meeting times with me as we monitored weather conditions that impacted our start time. - She is above and beyond: Liv is forever immortalized as the witness on our marriage certificate, touched up my now-husband, and gave me a beauty blender and tips on how to stay fresh throughout the day. - Most importantly: we had a blast. Like, the perfect, fun, non-stressful way to start a wedding day (or in my case elopement). Since we were eloping, it was just me and Liv getting ready, and it was like having a bestie there with me as I prepared for the day. All in all, worth every penny and then some. I did a lot of research and the pricing was very reasonable and the quality of work much higher than what I was seeing. Beauty on Set came recommended to me by my photographer, who also used them for her wedding - the highest praise I think!
