How Your Wedding Morning Looks with Hair and Makeup

Your wedding morning is a special time filled with excitement, laughter, and anticipation. At Beauty on Set, we’ve designed a seamless process to ensure you can enjoy every moment while staying relaxed and stress-free. Our goal? To make sure everything runs smoothly so you feel your absolute best before you walk down the aisle. Let’s walk through what the morning of your wedding will look like when it comes to hair and makeup.

Why the Bride Goes Second to Last—Not Last

You might wonder why we don’t schedule the bride’s hair and makeup last. The reason is simple: it keeps the morning running on time. As the final hour approaches, things often get busier, with photographers, videographers, and planners coming in and out. If the bride is last, interruptions can cause delays, turning the relaxed vibe into a rush.

By placing the bride second to last, we ensure that your hair and makeup are completed in a calm, focused environment. This way, there’s no "stop and go" caused by other vendors needing your attention. You'll have time for last-minute touch-ups and adjustments without the pressure of being the very last person in the chair.

How the Morning Flows

Arrival and Setup:

Our team will arrive early to set up the hair and makeup station, transforming your bridal suite into a mini beauty salon. We come equipped with everything we need to bring your vision to life, and we’ll get started on your bridal party first.

Bridesmaids Services:

Each bridesmaid will have 50 minutes for makeup and 50 minutes for hair. That might sound like a lot, but we carefully plan to give every bridesmaid the attention she deserves! The bridesmaids don’t need to stay in the room the whole time—so feel free to let your girls relax, grab a coffee, or even catch some fresh air while they wait their turn. We keep things moving steadily, ensuring that everyone looks and feels their best.

Pop in When It’s Your Time

As the bride, you don’t need to be present during your bridesmaids' appointments. In fact, this time is perfect for resetting and recharging your batteries. You can use this moment to meditate, enjoy a peaceful coffee, or set an intention for your day. It’s your time to soak in the excitement and prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for what’s to come.

When it’s time for your hair and makeup, we’ll call you in. With 1 hour and 20 minutes set aside for your makeup and an additional 1 hour and 20 minutes for your hair, we’ll take our time to perfect your look. This allows you to feel calm and relaxed as we focus solely on making you feel your most beautiful self.

The Bride's Appointment: Your Moment to Shine

This is your time to sit back, take a breath, and let us pamper you. The focus is entirely on you. By this point, the morning should be running smoothly, with minimal interruptions from other vendors. We’ll ensure your look is picture-perfect, giving you time to adjust and touch up before stepping into your dress.

After Hair and Makeup

Once your hair and makeup are complete, you'll have plenty of time to get into your dress and take a few breathers. You can even use this extra time to snap some beautiful pre-ceremony photos with your bridal party. Because we schedule you second to last, there’s no rush, no frantic touch-ups—just a calm, enjoyable transition to the next part of your day.

A Relaxed, Joyful Morning

Our goal is to create a relaxed, joyful atmosphere on your wedding morning. By ensuring the bride’s hair and makeup happen second to last, we avoid delays, minimize stress, and give you the perfect balance of peace and pampering. It’s all about enjoying the process while feeling your most beautiful self.

So, pop in for your appointment, recharge, and get ready to enjoy the day you've been dreaming about. We're here to make sure everything runs like clockwork, so you can focus on what matters most: celebrating your love.
